SUMMARY:WORKSHOP: Employee Participation in Irish Workplaces
DESCRIPTION:Why does it matter? What does good look like? And how can we make a difference?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMore than 70 years’ worth of evidence shows that workers with greater control over their own jobs are more productive and less likely to be sick than those in traditional hierarchical organisations. \n\n\n\nThey bring ideas to work\, contribute to improving the business\, and help to build agile and resilient organisations. They also learn and develop on the job\, and experience significantly greater wellbeing and satisfaction. \n\n\n\nYet too many Irish companies have yet to realise the full potential of employee participation.
