The EU Horizon project AI REDGIO 5.0 aims to accelerate the digital transformation of manufacturing SMEs by helping them integrating AI-at-the-Edge and Industry 5.0 systems. The project focuses on developing AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, sustainability and human-centred practices. It will support Industry 5.0 through: the development of methods and tools, maturity assessments, and AI skills; a safe and reliable system that connects data from the edge to the cloud, perfect for running AI applications that are spread out across different locations; promoting Interoperability by design with the pan-EU AI-on-demand platform and its ecosystem; test-before-invest experiments in AI Didactic Factories, Virtual Factories, and TEFs (Testing and Experimentation Facilities), as well as SME-driven experiments.
